Senior UX/UI Designer
We are looking for an experienced UX professional to make a significant contribution to a high-profile Fintech business and play a key role in their agile product team. The role is predominantly UX focussed, however, you should be confident producing UI designs and working with a design system. This is a permanent, full-time role based in Nottingham with flexible working, and offering a highly competitive salary and excellent bonus scheme.

The Role
As the Senior UX/UI Designer, you will be the creative lead in producing high-quality design solutions focused on meeting customer needs, this will involve designing new customer journeys as well as features and improvements to existing journeys. You will communicate your design ideas using sketches, wireframes, process flows, user journeys, and interactive prototypes validated through internal and external user testing methods. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and provide them with a clear rationale behind your design decisions in order to influence the user experience. You'll take a creative and scientific approach to UX, formulating hypotheses, devising experiments to test them, and metrics to measure success, using a healthy balance of qualitative and quantitative research.
About You
You have at least 5 years' experience in UX/UI design including Agile Scrum experience and facilitating workshops. You consider yourself a problem solver and have a collaborative and inquisitive mindset. You are a team player and have strong communication and presentation skills. You have excellent technical skills including interrogating data analytics using either Google Analytics, Heap, Hotjar, Google Optimise, and high proficiency in industry software such as Figma, Sketch, Webflow, and Adobe Creative Cloud. You have solid experience of sketching, wireframing, prototyping and creating user flows, and a good understanding of core principles behind front-end coding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
