We are currently working closely with a key customer, to identify and recruit an experienced medium and high voltage engineer, to join a growing team in a market leading company.
Based in Louth, at one of the group's satellite offices, you will support their team across the region,on existing client sites, as well as on new opportunities.

JOB DESCRIPTION
* You will be required to work directly with our stakeholders, supporting the project lifecycle from initial enquiry through to handover.
* You will establish and translate client needs into valued, compliant solutions, supporting the business in achieving its growth objectives.
* You will responsible for the design of HV & MV protection and control systems
* Developing and reviewing of schematic drawings and single line diagrams
* Developing HV/MV system studies including protection coordination, arc flash, voltage regulation, load flow and fault level reports
* Specification, selection and procurement of the range of equipment
* To support the preparation of compliant, competitively accurate bids for Electrical Installation works
* Establish success criteria and act as the single point of contact for the client in relation to the bid requirements and deliverables.
* To provide clear and concise information on scope, schedule and project clarifications.
* Work closely with and support all project stakeholders to resolve any technical & business issues that arise
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
* Experience of isolation and earthing HV switchgear / systems
* Good knowledge of HV plant and equipment
* Experience in protection relays VIPS/ TLF's, tele control systems, wiring and schematics
* Experience of HV switching on systems
* Experience of HV system interface with backup generators
* Experience of fault resolution
* Ability to follow strict health and safety procedures/writing of safety plans
* Strong knowledge of current industry regulations & standards
* Ability to interpret tender information including drawings, specifications, equally possessing the ability to identify gaps that may present a risk
* Ability to establish relationships and communicate with internal and external stakeholders
* Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft 365
* Commercial awareness
* Strong Communication & Negotiation skills
