Have you considered a PGCE, but first you want to gain valuable hands on experience in a variety of secondary classrooms?
We have a number of schools in Staffordshire who are seeking a Cover Supervisor to join them ASAP. You do not need a qualification for this role but the ideal Cover Supervisor candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a firm and confident manner and be committed to delivering quality teaching and learning.
The position consists of delivering a variable timetable of already planned lessons and prepared teaching tasks across classes in different year groups and abilities. Any successful candidate will need to be both adaptable and confident.
As an Academics Cover Supervisor, you will have:
A positive can do attitude to respond to busy schools. Calls for work can be from 7:00am in the morning!
Able to get to schools in Staffordshire & South Staffordshire by 8.30am with 30-60 minutes notice.
Can work flexible between Monday to Friday. Usual working hours are between 8.30am-3.30pm
Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service or to be prepared to apply for a new DBS with ourselves (cost applied).We can offer...
