Senior Clinical Negligence Paralegal
A Top 100 law firm is looking for an experienced Paralegal, to join their highly regarded Clinical Negligence in their Bath office on a permanent, full time basis, as a Senior Paralegal. Notably, this is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career at a legal 500 Clinical Negligence team, and to work alongside leaders in this field. Hybrid working is also available.
This is what you'll be doing
Provide a Senior Paralegal level of support to a Partner within the Clinical Negligence team, and run your own matters when appropriate
Undertake fee earning tasks, and escalate any complex issues to the Partner
Provide excellent client service at all times, and act as a key point of contact between the client and the firm
Manage Clinical Negligence files under supervision, including liaising with courts, arranging meetings and obtaining legal documents
Liaise with clients over the phone, email, letter and face to face
Provide administrative support for business development activities, and attend dinners where appropriate with the Society of Clinical Injury Lawyers
The experience you'll bring to the team
Experience in a clinical negligence paralegal role is highly preferred (a minimum of 18 months)
Notably, if you have over 2 years of experience in personal injury, on the claimant side, your application with also be considered
LLB or CILEx is desirable
A real interest in Clinical Negligence is essential
Excellent attention to detail is essential
Excellent organisation skills are essential
A strong team player, with excellent communication skillsAnd this is what you'll get in return
GBP30,000 - GBP40,000 depending on your experience
