With a focus on dementia care our client is looking for a Registered Care Home Manager with at least 2 years' experience in a CQC Good rated home.

This is an established home with all five regulatory key lines of enquiry being rated Good by CQC. The home can accommodate around 50 residents. This Care Home ensures that quality is at the forefront of everything they do. They offer specialist care to assist people living with dementia. Their aim is to combine a safe environment and personal relationships with first class attention from their dedicated staff. They respect the rights, choices, and preferences of everybody living at the home.

The Registered Care Home Manager with the support of the Director will ensure efficient and effective day to day running of the Care Home, developing exceptional personalised service for every service user and their loved ones.

To be considered for this role, you must have an excellent understanding of CQC regulations and will be responsible for delivering high standards of care in accordance with the home's policies and procedures and all external regulatory requirements.

You will manage and support a team of staff, developing best practice, leading by example, and advocating further development of Person-Centred care, as well as creating positive working relations with external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Skills: -

* Ideally, you will be a CQC Registered Manager with at least two years' experience working as a Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager in a Residential Care Home environment who is prepared to undergo registration with CQC.

* Registered Managers Award or NVQ / QCF level 5.

* Excellent and effective communication skills.

* Knowledge of Dementia Strategy and Dementia mapping is desirable.

* Knowledge of Care Quality Commission (CQC) Guidelines.

* Knowledge of Gold Standard Framework for End-of-life Care.

* Ensure that the needs of the clients are assessed, and care plans are developed, implemented, and monitored.

* Proven experience in leading and motivating a team.

* Manage staff inductions, training, attendance, and supervisions.

* Create and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

* Meet or exceed the standards required by CQC so that the home can achieve the highest ratings possible.

* Good time management and ability to prioritise is essential.

* Consider finances and control budgets.

* Market the Care Home to achieve maximum occupancy.

* Manage all the staff and lead by example to motivate, empower and inspire others.

* Be innovative with a strong drive to succeed.

* Knowledge of lT is preferable.
