My client, based in Berkshire are one of the world leaders in the display technology industry.
They are currently looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their rapidly expanding R&D department. This role would provide the opportunity to work either at home, predominantly, or at their office in Pangbourne, Berkshire.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience - Embedded Software Engineer, will include:
-Experience in developing and debugging C in embedded RTOS.
-Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and repro-cases, and develop, prove, and document conclusions and/or resolutions.
-Strong information gathering skills: ability to read, analyse, and interpret technical journals, engineering specifications, and related forums.
-Ability to respond to technical inquiries from co-workers, customers, and vendors in a clear, accurate, and professional manner (both written and in person).
Experience of the following would be beneficial, not essential:
-Experience working within Agile teams, processes & frameworks.
-Knowledge of Networking, including TCP/IP and related protocols.
This job will require an experienced Embedded Software Engineer who has previously worked within a large team of Engineers on new product design within a complex environment.
