Are Recruiting Chef!

A fantastic opportunity has come up for a Chef to work alongside our existing team to help produce high quality, nutritious, fresh, home cooked meals.
We are looking for a skilled and motivated person who can work under pressure to produce meals for our 30 residents along with producing meals for approximately 50 of our outreach clients.
Menus are produced in advance, giving a good choice and you should be conscious of special dietary requirements.

You will also be part responsible for checking and maintaining kitchen equipment, managing kitchen supplies and adhering to company policies and procedures.
You should also be prepared to cater for ad hoc special events such as birthday celebrations.
We are preferably looking for someone with a minimum of two years' experience.
You should have a minimum qualification of S/NVQ2 in Catering and Hospitality or Professional Cookery and hold your Food Hygiene Certificate.
The successful candidate should be compassionate and caring with the ability to engage with residents, you should always have Resident welfare in mind and be able to actively support fellow workers.
The vacancy is initially a 37 hour a week temporary position which will be on a 7-day rota alongside our existing Chef.

The position will last for approximately 6 weeks to cover long term absence, after which the position will be extended permanently on a relief/bank basis.
The post attracts competitive rates of pay.
