Test Architect
This is a role for an individual to take ownership of creating, designing, and managing test processes. You will take responsibility of a small team of SDET's/ automation engineers focused on improving automation, API, performance, and technical testing.
Responsibilities:
Find new and efficient ways to improve software quality
Identify tools and techniques to implement
Support the QA Manager in the automation strategy
Continuously improve the team on behalf of the Test Manager
Create test estimates and build reusable testing assets for complex projects
Create and manage test reports
Monitor the awareness of the testing function
Design and develop the test automation framework, test harnesses, and code libraries
Take ownership for test infrastructure, including environments and software
Collaborate with other key stakeholders to ensure they are consulted and supported in the delivery
Requirements:
BSc in IT related degree
ISEB or ISTQB
Significant QA experience
Good understanding of principles, theories, practices and techniques for managing activities involved in planning and delivering software projects
Experience in collaborating and influencing cross-functional teams
Sound understanding of agile and DevOps methodologies
In-depth knowledge and experience of multiple open source and commercial tools for test automation, e.g., Selenium, Test Complete, Coded UI, Ranorex, Appium etc
