Langdon UK has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Operations Manager to join their growing team in Prestwich, Manchester.

Langdon was founded 30 years ago and we now help over 100 young Jewish people with learning disabilities by providing education, supported living and employment services. The Regional Operations Manager will work with the Senior Leadership / Management team to support the effective leadership of the Langdon services and operation in Manchester (Supported Living, Employment & Social Enterprise and Housing) to enable it to develop and thrive. They will actively promote the organisation's values, equity, diversity and inclusion, tackle discrimination across and beyond the organisation and ensure vulnerable adults are safeguarded.

The successful candidate will be an inspiring and values based leader with a strategic vision, able to develop constructive working relationships with members, staff, families and external stakeholders. They will work with the CEO and SLT to guide and plan the overall strategic direction of Manchester, including strategic priorities and responding to external and internal priorities.

As a Regional Operations Manager your duties will include:

  • Encouraging collaboration and partnerships, enhancing established relationships and developing new partnerships to benefit Langdon in Manchester.
  • Maintain awareness of the competitive market and social care landscape and seek out development opportunities.
  • Represent Langdon in Manchester and maintain a visual presence, developing and maintaining good relationships with families and community leaders.
  • Raise awareness of Langdon's work and oversee internal and external communications from Langdon Manchester.
  • Optimise financial performance, cost efficiency and value for money across all services.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for new business and business development/growth

Sound knowledge of CQC regulations and guidelines is essential in this role as well as previous experience of working with adults with learning disabilities. The Regional Operations Manager will provide Leadership to all managers within the region.

Package:

The position is offering a salary of GBP50,000, plus pension scheme, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and 3 Jewish holidays and other benefits.

The appointment will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and the successful applicant will be registered, as required, with the relevant body.
