We are seeking a well-qualified Teacher of History to assist our Head of History in leading the History provision across the School. The successful candidate will be able to inspire students with a passion for History, through the curriculum, academic societies and co-curricular opportunities, and will offer the ability to teach History to A Level.
They will also be committed to developing our students’ wider appreciation of History and providing opportunities for them to explore the subject both inside and outside of the classroom.
Due to maternity leave, there will be the opportunity for the successful candidate to gain leadership experience in the role of Acting Head of History during their first year. This post receives a Management Allowance of £4,000pa.
