Role: Sales Administrator
Location: Gloucester
Salary: GBP26,000
I am working exclusively on behalf of my clients who operate within a range of industries and are providers to some of the largest engineering companies worldwide.
Summary
This is a great opportunity to learn and develop engineering sales skills. The associate will start a 2-year development course alongside a mentor and trainer. The role will also be based in the sales office, in a dynamic and fun environment.
Working alongside the Senior Sales Estimator, the Associate will review technical drawings to understand requirements and work with Sales and Operations to create quote packages for customer.
Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation, submission and delivery of job proposals, and estimates
Assist with the development and administration of quotations, contracts, budgets, ensuring that work is costed precisely and accurately as per technical requirements
Assist in the review of proposed designs and engineering drawings
Support the sales team by providing accurate information; engaging with customers and supporting the management of key accounts as needed
Support the office team, taking calls, administrating, performing general administrative tasks
Requirements
Good communication skills
Good timekeeping and time management
The ability to work as a part of a team but also autonomously when required
The ability to work methodically and accurately, calculating costings as required etc.
Strong Microsoft Office skills for general administration
