Production Supervisor / Production Team Leader
Bedford area

4 on 4 off days / nights (continental pattern)
My client is a highly successful FMCG manufacturer. Due to continued growth they are seeking a Production Supervisor / Production Team Leader / Area Leader.
Reporting to the Shift Production Manager, the Production Supervisor / Team Leader is responsible for the operation, maintenance, improvement and repair of production equipment to support the delivery of operational KPIs, whilst driving excellent standards of production delivery and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include -
* Leading a team of Production Operatives
* Operating production machinery including ordering and scheduling packaging & raw materials required to for fill production plans within your production area
* Operate & instruct others to operate, to the required Standard Operating Procedures for all line equipment
* Complete all relevant production documentation / records
* Perform quality checks and complete required documentation/records
* Take ownership of the skills matrix for your area, and input into individual operative and team development planning
* Basic leadership requirements

The ideal candidate will be a Production Supervisor / Production Team Leader / Senior Operative / Operator, ideally from within the food or FMCG sector, with experience of efficiently running production lines.
