Group Accountant
An exciting position has become available for a full-time Group Accountant based in Co. Carlow. The successful candidate will earn ???50,000-???60,000.
You will maintain all financial systems as required, identify areas that require improvement and implement necessary changes to support business development and risk management.
Role Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or related field.
A qualification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) or the Institute of Chartered Accountants will be appreciated.
Several year's relevant and acceptable work experience in finance roles.
Role Responsibilities
Maintaining of accounting processes.
Fulfilling the company's financial reporting preparing monthly management accounts and budgets.
Supporting the credit control and debt collection process.
Ensuring that appropriate systems and adequate internal controls for risk management are implemented and followed.
Supporting the legal audit process and preparation of year-end statutory financial reporting.
Support maintaining banking relationships.
Supporting tax compliance and completion of VAT and corporate tax returns in a timely manner.
Undertaking financial analysis and reporting to support the decision-making process, improve efficiencies and reduce costs across the business.
Timely consultative support to individual business unit's finance functions of the organisational structure on various issues related to accounting and reporting.

The company have an extensive range of raw material and products available from any of their 6 locations in Carlow, Kildare, Laois and Wicklow, with their delivery fleet covering the following counties: Carlow, Wicklow, Kilkenny, Laois, Offaly, Wexford, Waterford, Cork, Tipperary, Clare, Kildare, Kerry and Dublin.
