To align with our strategic plan for growth, we have a great opportunity for a Certified RTITB or ITSSAR trainer to join our South East Operation. This role will predominately be responsible for delivery plant and health and safety training to our Port Operatives across the South East region.

Supported by the service delivery team you will expedite the training plan with initial plant and equipment assessments and be an instrumental part of our port operatives career by up skill the workforce providing them with new skills in line with the requirements of multiple terminals to ensure that their operation is able to perform efficiently and safely 24/7.

About the role
As a Certified Trainer for Stafforce, you will be responsible for the delivery of training across our flexible workforce. You are a key part of the workforce's continual professional development and the appointed person to maintain competency and knowledge standards across our operation.

Main responsibilities include:

To deliver training to RTITB / ITSSAR standards; develop, coach and support employees to achieve and maintain the standards required to operate plant and equipment in line with health & safety regulations and site rules.
Be responsible for managing, executing and producing training manuals, skills matrix, associated documentation, prepare audio/visual training guides and other learning applications.
Manage and maintain a training matrix to accurately record, reflect and plan the development of individual employees on a weekly and monthly basis.
Identifies training requirements by liaising with our service delivery manager and agreeing forward plans for labour skill requirements; forward plan all necessary tools, equipment and plant requirements.
Assess the competency of employees: ensuring they are equipped with the requisite knowledge and skills to complete their task successfully.
Produce reports and analysis to demonstrate the key drivers of the training program and its deliverables.
Keep abreast of all the latest training standards and methods; make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Build a strong relationship with service delivery team to enable the sharing of information to ensure the training plan continually meets the needs of the business.

In addition to this, you will have:

ITSSAR, RTITB or NPORS Instructors / Trainers Certification

Previous experience delivering plant, equipment and Health & Safety Training.

Drive, determination and self-motivation.

The ability to develop relationships and deliver high levels of customer service.

Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal, and be able to listen actively.

Interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability manage priorities to achieve deadlines.

A good standard of general education, including Mathematics and English Language.

A NEEBOSH qualification or similar would be advantageous but not essential.
