Senior Finance Systems Analyst

Here at Car Care Plan, a brand new position has become available for a Senior Finance Systems Analyst to design, test and implement enhancements to existing financial systems, including VSC and Oracle AP and GL.

Car Care Plan uses a number of financial systems that are key to its operation. These systems are constantly changing and growing in scope to meet the overall business requirements. It will be your job to coordinate the activities of the finance group and work together with other functions within the business and with the System Developers to ensure that the requirements are fully understood and that the process of design, development and implementation of those system enhancements and amendments are carried out efficiently and in a manner that meets those requirements.

This role would suit someone who has experience of systems development and change management and who is confident when it comes to engaging with a variety of stakeholders. With excellent communication skills and the ability to establish creditability, influence senior managers and build strong relationships, you will be able to facilitate large groups of people towards a common agreed solution and support prototyping activities that validate business requirements and solution definition.

Enthusiastic, flexible, resilient and able to work on own initiative, you will be able to collect, collate, understand and evaluate financial data with good attention to detail and apply your general organisational knowledge of the business and system processes in problem analysis. You will also be able to communicate ideas confidently and firmly and have a high level of computer literacy, including the ability to use MS Office products, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Someone that holds a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) or is working towards this is preferred, but this is by no means essential. The ability to use programming language (SQL) to automate data compilation and variance analysis is also desirable, as is knowledge of VSC.
