Want to be a key IT Support Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer where you can work on crucial IT projects? Want to learn new IT skills and put them into practice?
Our client requires an enthusiastic IT Support Engineer / Junior Infrastructure Engineer to join their busy support team. Based at the busy Hinckley offices you would work on broad ranging enterprise scale IT systems and infrastructure for multiple sites across the UK.
You will have full ownership of the IT support issues through to resolution, troubleshooting all sorts of desktop and infrastructure problems, escalating to third parties if appropriate.
There is also the opportunity for key project work including Cloud, Networks, Firewalls, Citrix and much, much more!
Ideally your skills to include:
-Excellent experience supporting a Windows environment: Windows 10, O365
-Exposure to Windows Server / virtualisation technologies - Hyper-V / vSphere
-Knowledge of LAN/WAN, switches, firewalls
-Ability to prioritise tasks
-Problem solving
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Above all you must have excellent communication skills, a thorough understanding of IT and the ability to pick up new skills.
