Managing and coordinating inventory control, cycle counting, carrying out investigations into stock variances and discrepancies on site and external warehouse locations. Organizing materials in and out of the external warehouse locations.

What You'll Do:

  • Ensure cycle counts are executed as per process, documentation is accurate, clear, and complete, SAP transactions and investigations at the first level are carried out correctly.
  • Responsible for material (stock) control, monthly stock counts and reconciliation at the various external warehousing facilities, carrying out physical stock counts, at least once per quarter.
  • Responsible for checking and calling back materials from external warehousing.
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure material stock control is being followed.
  • Accountable for ensuring cycle counting is carried out daily, to the plan and targets are achieved, in both WM (warehouse management = main raw material warehouse which have a BIN location) and IM (Inventory Management = all other storage locations including assembly/production staging/WIP/FG and offsite storage).
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies in a timely manner, working closely with other Supervisors, using root cause analysis, putting preventative actions in place to avoid recurrence.
  • Ensure all inventory investigations are closed out by month end.
  • Run daily, weekly, and monthly reports using SAP.
  • Responsible for waste disposal activities within your area.
  • Advise to Warehouse Supervisor, daily labour requirements to meet operational demand.
  • Ensure KPI targets and operational objectives are met, and month end reporting is completed on time

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Lead in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in material management, cycle counting
  • Demonstrable experience of SAP or equivalent ERP system
  • Numeracy skills and attention to detail are essential for this role along with experience of Microsoft outlook, excel, word and PowerPoint
  • Must be flexible regarding working hours. (between 8am and 5/6pm)
