SoCode are working with a fast growing, award winning, Cambridge based company that specialise in content management platforms.

They are seeking a passionate and keen software test engineer with a strong technical background to join their friendly and dynamic team.

You will be responsible for???

• Manually testing the customer UI as well as expanding the automation test suite
• Using applications as part of the platform and provide feedback on usability and functionality
• Develop test scripts and plans to automatically test software
• Contributing to the improvement of resources and processes

You will have the following experience/skills???

• Testing web applications and automated testing tools such as Selenium
• Coding / scripting (e.g. Python)
• MySQL, XML, and REST API Testing
• Agile software development processes is advantageous

You will also possess???

• Ability to focus with attention to detail
• Preferably degree educated
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner
• Excellent organisation skills
• Ability to prioritise
• Excellent analytical skills for troubleshooting and problem solving
