We are looking to recruit an experienced Electrician to join our growing operations and maintenance team within the Estates department at Coventry University. The role will be responsible for the maintenance of the electrical systems across the University.

The post holder will be part of a team undertaking planned, routine and emergency repairs to all electrical systems across the university campus. As part of the role, you will also be responsible for small electrical installations.

You will need:

  • Experience of working as an electrician on large commercial site
  • Experience of maintaining smart lighting systems would be an advantage
  • You will hold a C&G 2357 NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent
  • You will have completed the British Standards BS 7671:2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations, IET Wiring Regulations – 18 th Edition

Desirable qualifications include:

  • C&G 2392 & 2391
  • JIB Gold card
  • AM2
