Operations Technician
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Brigg Renewable Energy Plant, a straw-fired power plant in North Lincolnshire.
Job Description
Reporting to the duty STL to ensure the plant is operated with respect to safety, environmental and operational limits, whilst maximising availability, reliability and efficiency
Experience of combustion principles, rankine cycle and electrical generation is desirable.
Undertake general fault finding, defect rectification in addition to planned and first line reactive maintenance tasks.
Basic understanding of UK SSoW, HASAWA and other relevant legislation.
Monitor plant performance and assist the ASTL/STL in maintaining an accurate and comprehensive shift log and ensuring all defects/works are recorded within the sites CMMS.
Provide operational support for the maintenance and fuel handling teams to maximise plant performance and safety, particularly during fuel delivery and by-product removal periods.
