A vacancy has arisen for a Clerk to the Board of Trustees. Reporting to the Chair of the Board, your principle role will be to provide support for meetings of the Board and its committees, which will include attending all meetings and producing detailed minutes. The role does not stop there however, as you will use your experience and knowledge of Board procedures to offer guidance and support to ensure that meetings are productive and that the Board’s work is carried out effectively.

Your ability to capture discussions accurately and produce high quality minutes will be essential, but equally important will be your professionalism and ability to read and respond appropriately to different situations. You will work closely with the trust central support team, the trust executive and of course the trustees.

Flexibility of working hours will be required to accommodate the Board’s activity but generally meetings will be planned several months in advance. The majority of meetings will take place during school term time but some hours during school holidays may be required. Meetings could take place virtually or at any of the trust’s schools. Home based working is possible other than when attending on site meetings. – for details please visit https://www.futuralearning.co.uk/
