Head of Compliance

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

Your Role:

• Responsible for all compliance functions for the Irish Operations
• Assist in establishing the risk appetite with the board and designing controls for specific risk.
• Advise the board on all regulatory and compliance matters.
• Act the point person for the CBI relationship and assisting in all Irish regulatory and compliance matters.
• Responsible for the compliance function including ensuring satisfaction of regulatory requirements and filings, sanctions, Anti-Money Laundering etc
• Maintain strong working relationships with relevant teams across the business.
• Provide support on international compliance business.
• Work on any ad-hoc business or projects
• Develop and grow the compliance function based on company needs.

Your Skills

• Strong experience of the Insurance or Financial Services market in Ireland
• Ability to multitask and an interest on taking on international compliance work.
• Excellent drive and motivation and an ability to work as a one-person team locally while contributing to an international team.
• Strong commercial acumen and judgement
• A desire to help grow and develop the compliance function in Ireland.
