Technical Advisor - Engineering
We are seeking a motivated and experienced specialist in the engineering further education sector who can support our internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic and proactive way. The aim of this role is to help City & Guilds deliver on its commitment to invest and grow in the engineering skills and training area. You will be part of a key team working on our engineering offer, covering end-point assessment, T levels and many other products and services.

About The Role
You will be instrumental in ensuring the visibility of our products and services to customers. This will include working alongside our existing technical advisor for engineering and our business development teams.
Your remit will also include advising on the design and execution of our offer in the engineering education sector. The role involves working with development teams, working towards key milestones and deadlines to ensure the delivery of new products. This will include regularly reporting on activities, risks, and outcomes.
About You
You should have gained credible experience working within the engineering educational sector as well as having a strong industry background. You should possess a passion for representing the skills needs of this sector and the drive and determination to work across the City & Guilds business at all levels, as well as with key external stakeholders to deliver on projects. You will have the ability to work very closely with others to meet all targets and milestones.
As a confident individual you will have the skills and ability to bring key stakeholders together to work on our offer and continue to support City & Guilds in its drive to be the lead awarding organisation in this sector.
