Maintenance Engineer?
Do you pride yourself in providing accurate work and excellent customer service?
We are partnered with a successful and well-established business that are seeking a Repair and Installation Engineer in Sudbury. You will be field based around the Essex and Suffolk area. Liaising directly with customers to complete basic installations and repairs. You will be provided with your own work van and work mobile.
This is a family feel organisation that are happy to train so no previous industry experience is required.
You will have a strong support system of an office-based coordinator and senior engineers to assist when needed. You will also have the longer-term opportunity to train for more senior roles to progress your career.
One of the most important aspects of this position is to provide excellent, friendly, and positive customer service whilst visiting customers.
Responsibilities include:
Maintenance and repair products on site.
Installation of products and basic troubleshoot to find the fault or issue.
Ordering of stock and products by liaising with office staff.
Maintaining customer logs
Internal service logs
Keeping communication open with customers and head office.
Ensuring greeting each customer with respect and helping with their concerns.
Ensuring H&S is always met.
On a day-to-day basis you will be required to use a smart mobile phone and update records on MS Word, Excel and Outlook.Attributes required:
High levels of customer's service - Ethical and trustworthy.
Be able to make decisions in a timely manner
Resolve problems and report errors- via photos.
Be able to work in ever changing environments.
Reliable and committed and able to work independently.
Be able to lift a toolbox weighing 50lbs.
This is a customer facing position, so you must be presentable and be a clear communicator.A manual driving licence is essential for this role for use of your own work van.

GBP25,000- GBP30,000

40 hours per week - no weekends.
