Senior Legal Counsel
Job Description:
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Solicitor to join our asset management client in house on a permanent basis.
If you are interested in; learning about the investment management business, advising on client-related agreements and widening your experience into new areas of legal practice making connections, this role would suit you. This is a great opportunity for a commercially focused lawyer with proven technology/commercial contract experience to join a growing team.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Qualified lawyer.
Ideally looking for 6 years + PQE with experience of negotiating commercial contracts, in particular technology contracts, for regulated businesses.
Applicants from private practice and industry are welcome.
Experience of other legal practice areas would be valued but is not essential.
The successful applicant will be a confident and articulate communicator capable of handling complex and time critical matters in a positive manner.
You will be keen to embrace new areas of expertise and technologies and develop business understanding which will enable you to make appropriate risk-based decisions.
As well as providing thoughtful, commercial, and pragmatic legal advice, you will enjoy working as part of a close-knit and collegiate team and be keen to be involved in training and knowledge sharing.
Core Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice and guidance in a corporate environment
Drafting and negotiating complex commercial or technology contracts.
Cross business projects
