Role: Product Manager - Maternity Software

Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire with a degree of flexibility/Hybrid working

Salary: To GBP55k + 10% Bonus + Benefits Package

Are you an experienced Software Product Manager with extensive knowledge of Maternity Management Software and looking to play a key role in supporting the NHS Better Births agenda to deliver higher quality pre-and post-natal care?

Our client are a market leading Healthcare Software provider with significant investment in all products following recent acquisition. They are looking for a Product Manager to lead the strategic development plan for their Maternity Software product in line with their Product Roadmap.

This is a key role to ensure that products are leading edge, delivering an effective and reliable product that continually evolves to meet the needs of customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Contribute to the overall product strategy ensuring products outperform competitors in the market
  • Act as a Thought Leader/ SME promoting products and their role in delivering an efficient, digital and integrated healthcare system
  • Set, communicate, drive & monitor product strategic plan including the vision, goals and initiatives for each product
  • Identify and map the competitive landscape for the product against key competitors including analysis of 'lost opportunities'
  • Assist in the development of the strategic sales plan to identify target segments, key sales opportunities and support tactical marketing activity to deliver the sales plan
  • Support pre-sales activity, gathering customer needs, design and prioritise functionality
  • Maintain the high-level product roadmap, drive release planning preparation, define the product epics and features
  • Collaborate with product owners and development teams to analyse customer requirements, design features and workflow and ensure compliance with product development roadmap
  • Set and monitor market performance indicators such as product sales growth, upgrade adoption and product usage, and address areas of concern to continuously improve product family profitability
  • Support pre-sales activity as the technical expert for the product, including supporting product demonstrations, explaining features and benefits and the product evolution roadmap
