Description:
A large healthcare organisation is looking to appoint a Deputy Team Manager to work with the Clinical Service Lead ensure the successful and effective day-to-day management of the Service.
The post will be working in the South Central on an interim basis for 6 months initially with a potential extension in place.
Main Responsibilities:
To ensure the successful and effective day-to-day management of the Service so that it provides a responsive, high quality service to staff member/service users with concerns about their wellbeing and/or mental health;
To lead areas of responsibility as well as ensuring the effective assessment, treatment and discharge of service users, whilst maintaining a good level of service user and carer involvement;
supporting the Clinical Service Lead in liaising with stakeholders, managing staff and resources and meeting stringent data collection requirements;
To assist the Clinical Service Lead in managing the financial resources available to the team within agreed budget tolerances;
To assist in establishing appropriate management systems and structures to ensure that all staff receive appropriate supervision, appraisal, training and induction.
A successful candidate will have:
Mental Health practitioner qualification (ie nurse/social work etc)
Strong leadership skills and able delegate appropriately;
Able to demonstrate an understanding of the Staff Mental Health and Wellbeing agenda;
Demonstrate effective decision making and problem-solving skills;
Ability to write reports;
Experience of implementing change effectively.
