Location: Burton-upon-Trent

Employment type: full-time, permanent

Salary: GBP18,000 rising to GBP20,000 after the successful completion of a 6-month probationary period.

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week (9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday) with an unpaid hour for lunch each day 1-2pm. We currently operate a 3-2 office/home working split, so 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

The team are committed to creating engaging content that informs readers and reaches advertisers' target markets.

Today, the company has 12 unique brands, each of which has its own focus and target audience. All of the brands are B2B focused: he company have titles aimed at the healthcare & pharmaceutical industry, the construction & property market, luxury lifestyle and a title aimed specifically at UK based small & medium sized businesses, to name just a few.

As part of their ongoing growth plan and to meet current demands, we are looking for a Copywriter to join their existing editorial team of five. The role will suit someone who has excellent written skills, unquestionable grammar and spelling as well as the ability to work at pace whilst maintaining a high standard of writing.

Key duties:

Create content for digital magazines and brand websites

Copywriting across 12 brands. Clients to include those from a variety of industries and regions

Proof-reading of articles written by you and other team members

Liaising with clients by telephone and email

Conducting client interviews by telephone

Key qualities and requirements for the role:

Excellent written skills

Must have excellent grammar and spelling

The ability to work at pace

Must be self-motivated and able to work on own initiative

A knowledge of SEO would be advantageous so that articles may appear in search engine results pages (SERPs)
