Supply Warehouse dispatch supervisor
The successful applicant will be carrying out team leader duties and assisting with the daily activities within the warehouse and stores. They will work closely with the production and sales departments to meet internal/external deliveries and customer service objectives.

You must have an up to date reach and counterbalance FLT license, Multidirectional (Combi-Lift) license is desirable though not essential.

08:00 - 16:45

GBP11.05PH - GBP12.98PH Dependent on experience

• Exceptional record keeping, stock records, stores related paperwork and computer records.
• Well organised and able to plan effectively.
• Able to cope under pressure during busy periods.
• Experience in a similar role is essential.

For this warehouse dispatch supervisor role you will be responsible for;

• Reporting to the Production Manager
• Lead the Supply / Warehouse & Dispatch Teams in materials receipt/goods despatch activities.
• Liaise with the Production Planner to organise and control the issue of materials to the production department.
• Plan and organise daily activities within both production supply and dispatched goods warehouses in line with customer requirements.
• Monitor activities within the Supply & Dispatch Warehouses.
• Implement Health and safety standards - ensuring compliance to legislation.
• Organise Dispatch warehouse to a high standard to assist in the storage and location of materials and products taking every step to preserve product quality and avoid damage/wastage.
• Maintain and improve operating procedures and company policies.
• Set and implement exceptionally standards of tidiness and safety throughout.
• Ensure maintenance is carried out on equipment and property.
• Procure consumables at best value for stores and packaging.
• Carry out hands-on day to day order picking, despatch and replenishment duties.
• Implement perpetual daily stock counts and oversee periodic full stock takes.
• Develop, implement and monitor performance KPI's for both Supply and dispatch warehouses.
• Communicate with the Production Manager, planning and Sales Teams frequently during shift to support the production plan and customer service standards.
• Carry out periodic reviews of stores effectiveness and implement changes to improve working conditions, systems and team.
