Nurse Seekers are proud to be recruiting a Registered Veterinary Nurse for a medium-sized family owned veterinary group, comprised of branches across London and Surrey. With exceptional facilities, as well as their own specialist 24-hour veterinary hospital our client provides the highest level of care to animals. They are looking for a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse who is clinically competent who can contribute to their collaborative approach and work to the highest standards.
Criteria
Veterinary Nursing Diploma/Degree or RCVS recognised equivalent
RCVS Membership
1-year experience (preferred)
Self motivated and a pro-active attitude
Excellent communication skills

Responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Restrain patients by company protocols, including stress free handling, for all exams; all injections; intravenous catheter placement and intubation
Providing clinical training to junior staff and new starters.
Set up of equipment for procedures including anaesthetic.
Dealing with internal laboratory testing as well as processing samples to be tested off site.
