Great that you're thinking about a career with BSI!

We are looking for an experienced Publications Editor to join our growing Content Development Team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

In this role, you will be responsible for the assessment and development of national and client-sponsored standards and standardisation documents, that impact peoples lives every day. You will help ensure that the document realises its scope and presents the content in the most effective way, meeting the needs of users and other external stakeholders.

You will be working in partnership with our Editorial and Content teams to help ensure the quality of the standardisation documents BSI produces, whilst taking responsibility for the editorial governance of the document.

If you have a proven ability to assess and analyse the purpose of a publication, develop an outline and structure that achieves its goals, then this will be a great role for you. Strong editorial and rewriting skills and an ability to critically analyse technical content are at the core of what we're looking for. It is also important to demonstrate excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate, persuade and influence, in order to manage author and stakeholder relationships.
