You may be a private client solicitor (or chartered legal executive) frustrated at the lack of route to progression. You may find that your firm's ambitions do not match your own passion and drive. If so, then this opportunity could be for you.
Unsurprisingly, our client is a well-established, leading firm in South West England. Due to organic growth, its well-regarded wealth management team is looking for an additional specialist to join its expanding department in its Exeter office in the heart of Devon.
Ideally, you'll be an experienced and driven private client solicitor or CILEx at 6 years' PQE or above, having already achieved or on your way towards a STEP diploma (or equivalent).
My client has a reputation for advising families, including business owners, farmers, and high net worth individuals, with the most complex succession-planning needs. With some emphasis on advising families of the inheritance tax planning tools available to them. You will also manage complex and high value estates requiring the application of inheritance tax reliefs and exemptions. This will include direct negotiations with HMRC.
On offer is a high-quality, balanced, and varied caseload from the outset, including wills, lasting powers of attorney and the administration of complex estates and establishment of lifetime trusts.
In return, you will receive a generous salary, ranging between GBP45,000 - GBP70,000, dependent on your experience and expertise. Alongside countless other benefits, representative of a firm this prestige.
