Sports Coach | Teaching Assistant | 121 Support
Do you have experience in working with children within a school setting? Are you looking for your next role? Are you passionate about positively impacting our younger generation?
LTF Recruitment have an opportunity for somebody who is looking to mix their sporting experience with classroom support. The ideal candidate would have expereince working with children in the classroom as well as delivering sports or behaviour sessions. The role would be full time starting as soon as possible in a local primary school based in DE21. The role would be Monday - Friday paying between GBP70 - GBP85 per day depending on expereince.
The main duties within this role will be:
Supporting pupils who are disengaged in school with their academic work
Running lunch clubs
Providing 1:1 support with children who present with challenging behaviour
Following and applying the school's behaviour and rewards policies
Supporting students with their learning including working 121 with interventions
Shadowing the class teacher and providing support when needed
Building a good rapport with both students and staff
The school are looking for someone who:
Has at least one years' experience working in a school-based environment
Can build positive relationships with children
Will go the extra mile for the children and the staff team
Has experience of coaching children
Can differentiate sessions to meet the needs of the children
Is motivated and enthusastic to learn
