Assemblers

My client is an engineering company based in Colchester. They are currently looking to recruit an additional person for their manufacturing team who will be responsible for producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
The role:
The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for:
• Building sub and main assemblies
• Electrical connections
• Reading assembly instructions and technical drawings
The Key Requirements:
• Experience as an assembler within a factory environment
• Ability to read and understand drawings
• Experience of using hand, pneumatic and battery tools
• Good understanding of quality control principles
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent hand-eye coordination, dexterity and attention to detail
• Able to carry out heavy lifting
