Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative

The Company

MTrec Recruitment are currently recruiting for a prestigious food production company based in Hetton le Hole.

The Role

Working as a Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative in a fast-paced environment your key responsibilities will include:

Daily meetings with the Team Leader or Supervisor to discuss workload.
To help prioritise workloads within the Department
Inspecting the quality of all products, prior to packing for despatch
Picking products from batch numbers for production
Labelling and manual handling of stock
Operating pallet trucks to allocate stock
Operating forklifts for Goods in and Goods out, as well as allocation of stock in the warehouse and factory floor
Following picking sheets to ensure correct quantities for production
Following strict SOP's.
Palletising products
Loading /unloading vehicles
To carry out a variety of different duties if required, as set by the Team Leader.
To maintain the company's health & safety standards at all times, including general housekeeping duties such as keeping your workstation tidy.
