Our highly regarded public client, who is based within the Higher Education Sector, have a temporary role for an HR Advisor. The rate of pay will be GBP16.93 per hour and is temporary for 12 months. Client may consider a Fixed Term Contract. This role will be working from home and occasional attendance at their offices based on the Easterhouse Campus. Monday to Friday working based 35 hrs. per week.
A PVG disclosure Scotland certificate which is dated within the previous 12 months is required.

Main duties and responsibilities:
Act as a single point of contact for employees and managers within your area of responsibility to provide professional advice, guidance in relation to Human Resources Management (HRM).
Work as part of the HRM Team to deliver a comprehensive HRM service.
Deliver process improvement to existing attraction, recruitment and selection approaches, systems, and processes. This role is an HR operational role but with a focus on the end-to-end recruitment and selection activity.
Contribute to the development of the recruitment and selection strategy.
Assist in the development of human resources IT systems to support the recruitment and selection administration processes ensuring adherence to data and compliance legislation and regulations.
Assist in the development of recruitment and onboarding activities
Assist colleagues to deliver recruitment campaigns.
Provide support and advice on individual employee casework (recruitment, grievance, absence management, PVG, conduct etc.) to ensure cases are dealt with in a timely fashion and in accordance with current legislation and best practice;
Support the Human Resources Management function in meeting agreed targets within the Human Resources Departmental Plan to support the Human Resources and Organisational Development Operational Plan.
Build a strong business relationship with the internal staff;
Actively identify gaps in HR policies, procedures and practices and propose and implement changes necessary in conjunction with the Senior HR Business Partner;
Support the managers in recruitment and selection of key talent for the function and workforce planning;
Facilitate the HR management team to bring best solutions for employees;
Contribute to the development and delivery of HR and OD strategies relating to areas including recruitment and selection, wellbeing, equality and diversity and health and safety; and undertake appropriate professional development to meet any needs which may subsequently be identified by the career development review process.
