A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Production Supervisor / Manager to join an established food manufacturer based in Somerset.
The Role
Reporting into the Manufacturing Manager, you will be:
* Responsible for all aspects of production
* Managing production staff & machinery
* Ensure production standards are maintained to the highest quality
* Launching of new business incentives
* Maximizing the factory and your teams' performance
* Help develop staff through training
* Responsible for staff performance and targets
You will have:
* Good understanding of manufacturing techniques
* The ability to communicate with all levels of the business
* The ability to understand data and discover trends
* A desire to introduce continuous improvement to your day
* Proficiency on Microsoft office
* Practical experience of working to BRC standards and supermarket codes of practice
* Formal food safety/HACCP training
* Food safety qualification intermediate or higher
The Candidate
* Experience in working within the food manufacturing environment is essential
* Successful track record of management in a manufacturing environment
* Self-motivated with the ability to lead and inspire
* Analytical mind-set with excellent problem-solving skills
