You'll be comfortable with manual and automated testing, additional experience with Python, electronics, networking and communication protocols is very useful.
This position is going to appeal to a tester keen to explore all kinds of testing. This could be Cloud services, mobile apps, embedded products, GUI testing, APIs and SDK's. Plenty of opportunities to learn new things!!
It could be using a manual approach or an automation package. It may be best to code up some scripts for the task. You will work together within a close-knit team and work this stuff out. Previous candidates have commented on what innovative and supportive the test team is.
Essential: Testing, Knowledge of Python coding.
Desired: Electronics, networking, cross-platform and communication protocols.
Responsible for writing and maintaining a suite of automated test scripts and providing hands-on software quality control. Create and execute test plans for both manual and automated testing using a variety of test methodologies: functional, exploratory, integration, regression.
