SALARY:
The rate of pay depends on experience and will be between GBP14 and GBP14.20 per hour. There is a refer a friend scheme in operation via DAY'S Recruitment, and there will also be a 'Thank You' gift voucher as a bonus at the end of the assignment in January.
*The Role*
You will be working alone or as part of a team in a busy restaurant to prepare and cook food to a high standard.
This is a FIXED term booking for the whole of December, and you will be working 5 days out of 7.
You will be required to work key dates, including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day. These will be 12 hour days with two days off together.
Duties will include:
* General food preparation/cooking - low and high volumes
* Working alongside senior Chefs - following their direction as appropriate
* Maintaining high levels of sanitisation
* Adhering to Food Hygiene and Allergen laws and regulations
* Supporting colleagues as reasonably required to meet targets and deadlines
*Essential requirements for the role
* At least 6 months experience in a Catering / Kitchen environment
* Food Safety L2
* Optimistic attitude
* Able to work under pressure with a great eye for detail
Access to vehicle / transportation is desirable but not essential
