DK Recruitment are looking for a Conference & Events Administrator on behalf of our local client.

They are looking for someone who Is naturally organised and an experienced in general office administrator to work with the sales team and support the day to day running of the growing wedding, conference and event side of the business.

Main purpose of the job:

* To manage and organise the day-to-day administrative activities

* To administer all bookings from confirmation through to the event on the day

* To provide excellent communication with the operations team

* To provide excellent customer service to all customers

Duties and responsibilities will include:

Responding to a range of customer enquiries by phone and email

Keep booking system updated at all times with full and concise information for all bookings including costings and itineraries

Follow up quotations when required

Conduct customer show rounds and appointments, displaying a clear & comprehensive knowledge of the venue, menus and packages

Strive to meet sales targets at all times

The ideal candidate will:

Be organised & an excellent communicator

Have attention to detail and the passion to go the extra mile for our customers

Have previous administration experience

Have good IT skills

Other:

Driving license preferred due to location

Full Time or Part Time hours to be discussed for the right candidate

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, which will include bank holidays if required and the occasional weekend work to attend exhibitions when required

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: GBP20,000.00 per year
