Cover Supervisor, Bedlington:

Have you got experience with teaching dance classes, leading sports lessons, coaching, youth work or tutoring? Are you comfortable with captivating people's attention and helping them to achieve pre-set goals? Have you considered working as a cover supervisor?

As a cover supervisor you can have the flexibility to pick the days you want to be available for work, and you can enjoy positive interactions where you help students to fulfil their potential (without having to plan, mark or assess any of their work!) Cover Supervisors oversee students as they carry out work set by their normal teacher who is unable to attend the lesson for various reasons. You don't have to be a teacher to do this, it is about having a personality that can encourage children to behave and achieve in their lessons, and previous work experiences can give you the transferrable skills to be confident at the front of the class.
