We are currently making over 1.2 million deliveries every week and in these challenging times, our customers are relying on us now more than ever. As a business we need to continue to do our part in #feedthenation, due to this exceptional demand, we are looking to recruit a Duty Manager to support the fulfilment centre.

The purpose for this role is to assist the Operations Manager in ensuring that the internal picking operation and associated tasks of stock control are completed and in addition all routes are delivered in full. You will be agile and undertake all duties as required but will be the designated responsible person in the absence of the manager.

Key Responsibilities:
* 48 hours/ Sunday to Friday Nights (We are trialling different patterns of work, including a five day working pattern)
* To manage and pick products
* To load and unload delivery vehicles
* To carry out an accurate and reconciled stock count daily in order to minimise wastage
* Manage costs to budgeted levels and ensure that replenishment team have accurate stock figures
* Comply with various procedures relating to quality and processes
* Work as part of the Centre team to ensure all customer orders are fulfilled and correct stock levels maintained
* Stand in for the manage in his absence and manage the centre accordingly
* Ensure the product areas, outside environment / yard areas and Vehicles meet the Company's cleanliness standards at all times
* To ensure all Products from suppliers are stored, distributed and comply with MQS procedures and all Food Hygiene regulations
* To maintain and comply with all GDPR requirements in all duties
* As necessary the role will require both Residential and B2B routes to be undertaken where required
* All deliveries are expected to be made by 7am on Residential routes and variable as agreed locally on B2B routes
* To ensure all deliveries and orders are correctly logged and accounted for on the HHT
* To ensure, at all times, that service levels are maintained in line with customer service standards
* To ensure that Health and Safety and Food Hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times and that all accidents are reported in line with Company procedures

Challenges:
* You will perform all roles and deputise for the manager as required
* Delivering to our customers before 7am, as determined by the route for that night
* Work well under pressure (could add covering a wide range of duties)
* The Great British weather - working outside, at night

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
* Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence appropriate to the vehicle type (B, C or Class 2) with no more than 6 points on your driving licence
* Can do attitude with a desire to consistently exceed our customers' expectations
* You must enjoy working alone and at night and be physically fit and well to meet the demands of the role
