Electrical Service Engineer

Electrical Service Engineer required. My client is an established supplier of Battery storage systems focusing on working with Generator hire companies in an effort to create Hybrid power solutions. They are looking to recruit and experienced Electrical Engineering to provide service coverage to sites predomintly across the midlands.

The ideal candidate will come from an Electrical service background, have previous experience with battery storage systems, will be electrically qualified (18th edition / test and inspect) and be based in the Central Midlands.

Electrical Service Engineer Position Overview

• Install, Program and Fault find on battery storage systems
• Diagnosis on both battery systems and Diesel Generators
• Remote monitoring and programming of Battery systems
• Perform PDI and Post hire checks on battery equipment and associated components
• Performing Self-Test, Inspection and signoff on Electrical work undertaking
• Travelling to sites across the midlands to provide first time fix services to customers
• Undertaking workshop duties as well as travelling further afield when required

Electrical Service Engineer Position Requirements

• Previous Electrical fault finding, diagnosis and repair experience
• Previous experience with the Power Generation sector (Generators, UPS, BMS, Battery banks or Substations applicable)
• City and Guilds 18th edition
• City and Guilds 2391 Test and inspection desirable
• CSCS Card Desirable
• Full UK Driving licence
• Based in central Midlands, ideal locations include Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, Stoke, Birmingham and Burton upon Trent
• Prepared to travel throughout the midlands for the role as well as heading further rout when required.

Electrical Service Engineer Position Remuneration

• Salary GBP25,000 - GBP40,000 DOE
• Monday to Friday, full time position
• 30 Days holiday inclusive of public holidays
• Company vehicle
• Fuel Card
• Phone, Laptop and specialist tools provided
• Pension
