Gardener / Driver
Salary: GBP19,240 per annum
Location: Enfield
You would be expected to meet daily at the Depot to collect equipment then driving from site to site completing the relevant groundwork on each.
You will support the team leader by organising & completing the day to day tasks on site. following clear instructions of work to be carried out and the tools required to undertake tasks including, mowing, litter picking, hedge cutting and strimming
Gardener / Driver Responsibilities:
* Complete assigned works in a safe & productive manner.
* Report any broken machinery in accordance with company procedure.
* Ensure skips are loaded correctly, both general waste skip and green waste skips.
* Ensure all required recording of work completed and have access to all required associated paperwork such as maps, tick sheets, signing in paperwork etc, to safely and successfully undertake the work required.
* Facilitate regular communication with the Contract Supervisor/Contract Manager
* Be fully aware of process and procedure for changes to work plans including but not limited to breakdowns, absenteeism, bad weather etc.
* Submit paperwork as required both in full, accurately and in a timely manner.
* Notify the Contract Supervisor / Manager of any Health and Safety issues, observations and all accidents in accordance with company procedure.
* Ensure all tasks completed are to the specification required and finished to a high standard
* Ensure all communication with colleagues, clients and members of the public is courteous and professional and in line with companies core values.
Gardener / Driver Requirements:
* Full UK Drivers Licence
* The ability to be able to work independently but also as part of a wider team.
* The ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload to meet required deadlines
* The ability be able to use own initiative.
* Be able to respond to and resolve simple problems in a polite and professional manner
Desirable
* Holds PA1/PA6 spraying certification
