Are you an experienced Bid Manager who wants to work with a high growth business as they continue to expand into the international market?

This business has developed a specialist submersible craft with a number of uses and is now looking for a Bid Manager to work closely alongside their business development and sales teams to secure high-value sales for their product globally.

In this role you will be responsible for developing and managing a bidding process that will allow the business to secure wins on opportunities identified and managed by the company's business development team. You will be working closely alongside all teams within the company to ensure that documentation, activities and proposals translate into successful bids.

The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience of implementing bidding processes for smaller companies and will be capable of fully guiding a business in setting up a successful bidding process.

This role is perfect for someone looking to bring their specialist experience to a thriving, growing business that is ready to launch on the international market where they are anticipating a large amount of success for their product in the coming years.

The role:
* Developing, implementing, coordinating and overseeing a bidding process
* Developing and completing bids by gathering financial, technical, commercial information etc.
* Coordinating bidding process by working with business teams and stakeholders
* Leading on Reviews and Gates
* Producing and reviewing bid documentation

The person:
* Proven track record of developing, implementing and managing a bidding process for an SME
* Experience working within the Defence sector (advantageous)
* Experience managing proposals to Defence or government clients (advantageous)
* APMP qualification (desirable)
* Full UK driving license
