Special Educational Needs Residential Support Workers Required near Telford Immediately!
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for SEND RSW / Special Educational Needs Residential Support Workers for a residential home for young people near Telford.
The provisions cater for is for young people who have emotional behavioural difficulties, challenging behaviour and other needs. The post requires talented SEND RSW / Special Educational Needs Residential Support Workers who are flexible, enthusiastic and dedicated to supporting and caring for young people with educational and mental health needs.
To work in this setting, you will be expected to;
Have a NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or a related subject (education, development)
Be comfortable providing personal care
Have experience working in special needs or care settings
Able to be flexible with shifts. There is the prospect of longer days during school holidays as well as waking night shifts.
The role will include working 1:1 with service users and supporting them during their day before and after classes. This will include waking them and putting them to bed and supervising mealtimes.
You will be part of a great team and able to chaperone on some great days out with the students.
