Hello, we’re the Pension Protection Fund (PPF). We protect millions of people in the UK who belong to defined benefit pension schemes. Our members rely on us to look after their pensions if their employers collapse and the pension schemes cannot afford to pay what they promised.

We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our Project Management Office. We have a significant programme of change in flight to deliver our digital and cloud strategy, as well as business-driven projects and programmes, using waterfall and agile methodologies depending on the project.

The role holder will play a pivotal role in helping to develop the solutions to support a number of roadmap projects, focusing on analysing business data and business processes. You’ll have the opportunity to work with stakeholders to understand the project scope, capture functional / non-functional requirements, map processes, model data and proactively capture progress in line with agreed deliverables and timescales.

We require an individual with recent Business Analyst experience ideally with financial services / public sector organisation industry knowledge and who has a track record delivering process improvements across large and small change initiatives adhering to Agile / PRINCE2 principles.

We expect that interested applicants have proven analytical skills and an ability to balance attention to detail with sight of the bigger picture, excellent communication skills specifically to produce professional written work for review by steering and board committees, and advanced Microsoft Office product knowledge to create appropriate documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
