Children's Support Worker LD required Ludlow Shropshire GBP18,720 - GBP19,760
Hours: 40 hours per week, with flexibility
Salary:GBP18,720 - GBP19,760 (GBP9.00 - GBP9.50ph) & GBP60 per sleep in
Shift pattern15 hour shifts on a 1 on 2 off rota pattern.
As a Children's Support Worker you will work closely with our young people who have Learning Difficulties to ensure they are being provided support and a good quality of life with positive outcomes. You will be supporting our young people at their homes and during school. Daily Routines can include, personal care, trips to the zoo and supporting a young person during a lesson.
This is a permanent role with full time opportunities, However, we require an element of flexibility as everything we do is focused on the children and young people in our care. We also have the ability to be flexible if it meets the needs of our children and young people.
We are looking for people who are:

?? Able to enjoy our young people's successes and be supportive through their challenges.
?? Assertive in difficult situations, while remaining calm under pressure.
?? Willing to support the young people at home and in school.
?? A good communicator with interpersonal skills.
?? Have a sense of humour and fun.
?? Hold a Full driving licence and your own vehicle.
?? Flexibility to travel and work shifts across multiple sites where needed.
You do not have to be qualified to apply for this role, as we will provide you with all the skills and training you require to be successful. However after the 6 month probation, you will be expected to commence studying towards a Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare.
