Job title: Production Assembler
Location: South Molton - Devon
Contract type: temporary contract - ongoing
Hours: Mon- Fri 8am - 4am Mon-Fri 6am - 2pm Mon-fri 2pm -10pm
Pay rate: GBP9.22 an hour (+shift premiums available)
Acorn Recruitment is working alongside a local manufacturing company who is seeking a number of production assemblers due to continued growth to join their assembly team on a temporary basis ( work is ongoing).
Main duties and responsibilities of the role will involve the assembly and packaging of flat pack units (wall and floor units) for kitchens. The work will involve use of hand tools to assemble the wooden/ MDF units in the correct way and packaging in preparation for delivery. Previous experience is not essential but would be beneficial as some training will be given. This position would suit an individual who has experience in carpentry, DIY, handyperson or if you have a background in production assembly that requires a level of manual dexterity and use of tools. You will be working in small teams in a fast paced environment.
It would be a benefit to have your own transport due to location and if successful in securing a position with our client it is their company policy that you will be required to do a drug and alcohol test before starting assignment.
