Who they we looking for:

They are continuing to grow rapidly and to support the next stage of our company expansion plans, we require a bid manager to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Bid Manager to join as they will play a pivotal role in the next growth phase.

You will have a minimum of 3 years successful bid management experience within IT / Telecommunications sales, or a similar industry and with a strong understanding of the various public sector frameworks. You will work closely with the leadership team in determining the business development strategy for the B2B sales function.

What will you be doing:

* Responsible for the management of the entire end-to end bid process including completion of Selection Questionnaires and to Invitation to Tender stage

* Identifying, completing, and submitting all relevant framework applications

* Prepare bid reports, summarising key aspects of each opportunity

* Conduct local area research, develop competitor intelligence, and market analysis

* Co-ordinate and project manage all parties involved in the bid process to ensure everyone is aware of the level of contribution expected of them and the set deadlines.

* Create bespoke content for submissions

* Ensure all timelines are met and that the bid submitted is compliant in line with our client's requirements

* Develop win themes and USPs

What qualifications/experience do you need:

* 3 Years minimum experience of bid management

* Familiarity with public sector procurement process

* Highly effective written and verbal communication skills

* Methodical, attention to detail and ability to multi-task

* Able to use your industry experience to understand complex tender information

* A self-motivated, results orientated bid manager who can offer creative and innovative ideas to drive success

* To proactivity take ownership of your own business area

* A successful and demonstrable record of bid wins

* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams

* A strong understanding of the connectivity and IT industry
